As a collector of both SFX and its sister mag Total Film, I thought I'd say a quick congratulations to them for reaching a combined total of 500 issues (264 issues of SFX and 236 issues of Total Film).

I've been getting SFX since issue 3 (later got issues 1 and 2 from ebay) and Total Film since the first issue, and still have all 500 issues stored in boxes in my house - they take up quite a lot of room!!

Good work! I remember thinking I would keep them all forever (had TF since issue 7 and SFX since about 90), but the inevitable space-saving dump had to happen after I finished uni -- I think I made about three trees out of them :P

There's been no external mentioning of the magazine's merger in the Trade Press, so I guess this is just a revamp of the magazine
