I have seen SFX letters section is apparently running low on contributions. I wonder why that could be? Anyone who wants to contribute should email: sfx@futurenet.com

Anyone who wants to contribute should email: sfx@futurenet.comI sent them a letter the other day and they didn't print it the miserable so and sos. Just looked at their latest GOTG 2 Wishlist on the Book of Faces but could not bear to have my expert opinion sullied by posting it along with the hoi polloi. It just seems like putting pearls before swine.

I was going to suggest if they still had the farewells from the forum they could print those but I felt it might be a bit cheeky.

Slightly tangential, but I also have a subscription with one of Future's Craft titles - they've just posted on FB that " other Future Publishing Craft magazines have been sold to Immediate Media. This means any subscriptions have been transferred; this won't affect how much you pay, or when your magazine arrives, but there are new contact details if you have any queries. " How wobbly ARE Future???

Mr Cairo wrote: notiecd in this months mag that the book discussion page has zero input from any readers and I cant recall that happening before It happened once. It was Melanie Rawn's Dragon Prince but that was because I was the only person who submitted a review. This was a little weird this week though as several people did on the forum and a couple people did on Facebook. Also I had to remind them to set up a response thread for On The Beach. Maybe they've decided it isn't popular enough and going to get rid of it.

Its in the shops as well.
Reading the letters page the thing that struck me was now that they are getting some sort of discussion going in the letters page what they really need is a forum.

The Spock edition finally arrived yesterday (after I'd called them & advised not received it yet!!) so I'll soon have two copies. May keep this one though as it is a tribute to Leonard Nimoy.
