Saw the movie Mr Nobody (2009) and there is a key scene that is similar to one in Blink from two years earlier which can be read about here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485947/movieconnectionsBlink was written by future showrunner Steven Moffat and Mr Nobody has a couple things in common with a couple of episodes, albeit by other writers, in the Moffat era. Mr Nobody featured Daniel Mays later to guest star in Night Terrors. Mr Nobody presented multiple timelines including the importance of the parents of the principal character meeting and being together. The Rings of Akhaten showed such importance with Clara's parents.

The Magicians 5.10 Purgatory had Plum Chatwin saying timey wimey plasma.
Curiously Plum was played by Riann Steele who had travelled with the Doctor when she was Queen Nefertiti in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.

The (Doctor) Who: www.youtube.com/watch?v=H92RbydVwucThis skit from Shooting Stars in 1997 has future Nardole, Matt Lucas as the Second Doctor. The other Doctors were played by Bob Mortimer (1), Vic Reeves (3) and Mark Lamarr (4). Incidentally Reeves and Mortimer would later work with real Fourth Doctor Tom Baker on the 2000-01 Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) remake.

Runaways series finale Cheat the Gallows has the Runaways time travelling. This team time travelling was instigated by an older Chase (Gregg Sulkin) This led to Alex (Rhenzy Feliz) saying that out of all the people in the world, Chase gets to be a Time Lord and that it was so unfair. Alex is a Doctor Who fan and Nico ( Lyrica Okano) assumes that Time Lord is a Doctor Who reference which always lands in a thud. IMDb notes that: "Chase time travels from the future and wears a trench coat similar to Captain Jack Harkness, from Doctor Who, which is also mentioned in this episode." With Chase apparently dressing up as Captain Jack and the Doctor Who reference, the actor who had played Chase, Gregg Sulkin himself had been in the Whoniverse when he appeared in the Sarah Jane Adventures story The Mad Woman in the Attic playing Adam Lloyd.

Dalek alternative script extract: https://twitter.com/Emily_Rosina/status ... 8113071105The Dalek alternative script extract is a comedic story by Rob Shearman. This was released for the Dalek rewatch in the Lockdown season and Shearman had also written Dalek. The alternative script extract is based on uncertainty at the time whether NuWho would be able to use the Daleks when negotiating with Terry Nation's estate. With the alternative script extract, Shearman presents fun ideas with other elements of classic Who in absence of the Dalek. There is also reference to another property that fans coming from the era of classic Who can appreciate. Amusing of what could have been.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 7.7 The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D featured killer robots one of which made its entrance by shouting Exterminate and firing a gun. This is a homage to the Daleks as they too shout Exterminate! Here is an article about it: https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a332 ... j3QS-i-SicJust as the Doctor is a time traveller, the episode title is another time travel reference that of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Saw the first episode of James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction, Alien Life from 2018 and it included a clip of The Rings of Akhaten with the back view of Clara as she walks by the aliens that she sees there.

The Goldbergs 7.18 Schmoopie's Big Adventure has Adam (Sean Giambrone) wearing a Doctor Who T-Shirt with the 1980s Neon logo. This is not the first time that Adam wore a Doctor Who T-Shirt as earlier in 5.3 Goldberg on The Goldbergs he wore one with the diamond logo. Schmoopie's Big Adventure is a reference to Pee-wee's Big Adventure which Adam is a fan of and Adam's mum Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) got him a bicycle like one that Pee-wee had in his said big adventure. Pee-wee Herman was played by Paul Reubens and Reubens later starred in the Happy Idiot music video and that featured former companion Karen Gillan and incidentally she rode a bicycle there.

The middle episode of the documentary series Red Dwarf: The First Million Years, In Studio Space No-One Can Hear You Scream had Red Dwarf co-creator Doug Naylor mentioned that Doctor Who was coming to the end of its first iteration and Red Dwarf got its special effects team. This included Mike Tucker who is in this documentary. This documentary is narrated by David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor.

TV WEEK (Australia) of July 18-24 2020 included a Game of Thrones quiz and this is question 59: "In which popular science fiction show did actress Maisie Williams have a recurring role?"
The answer of course is Doctor Who.

The final episode of Red Dwarf: The First Three Million Years, Playing Pool with Planets looked at the many guest stars Red Dwarf had. This included Brian Cox in Stoke Me a Clipper. This documentary was narrated by David Tennant and Cox later worked in Tennant's swansong as the Doctor, The End of Time in which he voiced Elder Ood and then later played Doctor Who creator Sydney Newman in An Adventure In Space and Time.

Not exactly a Doctor Who reference but I saw the Burke's Law episode with the curious name of Who Killed WHO IV? WHO IV refers to the deceased character of William Henry Otis IV and hence the nickname WHO IV. This episode came on April 3 1964 when William Hartnell was the First Doctor in fact the day before the final episode of Marco Polo, Assassin at Peking. At the time Hartnell was the only Doctor Who that viewers knew, the idea of changing the lead character's appearance was a long way off and going along the similar lines of the Burke's Law character, Doctor Who IV Tom Baker would not come along until 1974.

It may not necessarily be a Doctor Who reference as I am not able to prove it conclusively but the bit between 1:10.28 and 1:11.58 from Goldengirl (1979) is worth listening to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHLcGbyl9_s&fea ... yE3VbdxYxU

The middle episode of Taskmaster season 2, A Pistachio Éclair, had Richard Osman in remarking at a location with his fellow competitors that it was like when the three Doctor Whos met! This came on July 5 2016 and presenter Greg Davies, who was in Doctor Who just six months before as King Hydroflax in the 2015 Christmas Special The Husbands of River Song, in his response to Osman's analogy, in front of an audience, said that it was not like that at all!

Hard Quiz (Australia) on September 23 2020 was won by Kim for her specialist subject of My Little Pony. Kim won this game because of only one question that she got right in the final round as her opponent David who made it with her to the final round got all five questions wrong with his specialist subject of the human eye. The one question that delivered Kim victory was about the background character in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic dubbed by fans as Doctor Whooves who is identified by what cutie mark. Kim gave the correct answer of an hourglass.

The penultimate episode of James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction, Intelligent Machines is the third to include Peter Capaldi. However unlike his two previous episodes, Capaldi is noted here as Actor on Doctor Who but Doctor Who wasn't talked about here. Instead Capaldi was among those to talk about Westworld, it seems that he is a Westworld fan.

The finale of James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction is Time Travel and Doctor Who is included in this very subject with interviews with Peter Capaldi. Viewers got a taste of the Doctor Who part of the programme at the start with bits from the Capaldi interview and showing a bit of the title sequence from NuWho series 7A and a clip from The Day of the Doctor of Clara on her motorbike getting into the TARDIS. All of the Capaldi interview in this programme can be seen here: https://twitter.com/nazzlepops/status/1 ... 19?lang=en Doctor Who is the last subject looked at in this programme. The Doctor Who proper starts with a clip from World Enough and Time and then the Doctor sitting on top of the TARDIS in Listen and is then introduced by Adam Rutherford, BBC Radio 4 science journalist, then The Martian author Andy Weir revealing that he loves Doctor Who and then seeing Peter Capaldi talked about what Doctor Who is about and having grown up with it. Also commenting during this segment were Gary K. Wolfe, Annalee Newitz, David Gerrold (Star Trek/Babylon 5) and James Gleick. A pretty good overview of what Doctor Who is about including the answer that Capaldi would like to give on what Doctor Who is about but was discouraged from doing so as it goes against the promotion of it as a brand. The answer is that it is about death as it carries a powerful death motif as its central character dies. He says that this shows that loved ones but you must carry on.

I Hate Suzie 1.2 Denial had Suzie's (Billie Piper) best friend and manager Naomi saying about the sci fi role that Suzie 12 years previously. While the fictional sci fi role is presented within this episode as Suzie is presented with questions about it when attending Comic Con, the sci fi role from 12 years previously was undoubtedly a reference to Billie playing Rose in Doctor Who. This year is 2020 and 12 years before that is 2008 when Billie last had a substantial appearance as Rose notwithstanding her cameo in The End of Time and the Moment being in Rose's form in The Day of the Doctor.

I accidentally came across this review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) and included this description: www.thecraggus.com/tag/bianca-rudman/?amp"Eva Green, whose Miss Peregrine is, like Tom Baker’s Doctor Who, frequently all eyes and teeth but the children – while all individually fine – lack any real chemistry. Speaking of “Doctor Who”, the story is crammed with enough wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey shenanigans to make Steven Moffat blush"

Hard Quiz (Australia) on October 21 2020 included Owen for his subject of Julius Caesar. Owen had made it known that he is a teacher. Host Tom Gleeson asked if Owen is a history teacher because of Julius Caesar. However Owen says that he is a PE teacher. This is not different to the Doctor thinking that Danny is a PE teacher because he used to be a soldier but Danny is a maths teacher instead. In the People's Round, Tom asked Matt Smith from Doctor Who and Bill Nye, the Science Guy are both well known for wearing what accessory. This was correctly answered by Evie (who was there for her subject of Oliver Sacks), the answer being bow ties.

Finished the first season of Staged starring David Tennant and his Good Omens co-star Michael Sheen as fictionalised versions of themselves. Also featuring Tennant’s real-life wife Georgia Tennant as a fictionalised version of herself. A reminder that Tennant was the Tenth Doctor came in the first episode Cachu Hwch when the TARDIS can be seen in his garden when he was there.

Recently saw an episode of the ABC (Australia) factual TV series Back Roads, Penguin, Tas, in which host Heather Ewart visit the said town of Penguin in Tasmania. What is curious about this is that it has the TARDIS in it with the playing of the Doctor Who theme as Ewart used the TARDIS to travel there!

The Sydney Sunday Telegraph The Binge Guide of December 6-12 2020 looks at Doctor Who's debut on BritBox. Under "From The Vault" and with a picture of Tom as the Fourth Doctor, it says: "Here's what you need to know, The Doctor is an alien who travels through space and time in a blue box righting wrongs, making wise cracks and friends (and enemies) everywhere. New streaming service BritBox is the only place to watch the entire collection of classic and contemporary Doctor Who from 1963-2019. You can start at the beginning with the first Doctor, William Hartnell, right through to Jodie Whittaker including Tom Baker (pictured), David Tennant and Sylvester McCoy."

Call The Midwife 2020 Christmas Special has a special guest star in Fifth Doctor Peter Davison.
If the presence of Davison, an actor who had played the Doctor wasn't enough, it also has a Doctor Who reference with Sister Frances saying to Nurse Trixie, "Sister Monica Joan went straight to the parlour after chapel. She's waiting for Doctor Who to start".

Turn Left Prequel Comic: https://www.doctorwholockdown.com/trick ... quel-comic Written by Nick Lodge to tie in with the Turn Left tweet-along back in November 2020. Set before Turn Left as indicated by the word prequel in the title. Pretty intriguing as it shows how and why the fortune teller associated herself with the Trickster and the Trickster himself wasn't in Turn Left itself, just his beetle.
