Does anyone else play this? I've not had mine installed for a while now but I'm gonna put them on again soon. If anyone does play would you fancy pitting your forces against the Emperors finest or the chosen of Chaos?

Still got them all installed, just haven't had the time to play around with it in ages. Usually play as Space Marines, though last time I looked I was going through the Dark Crusade campaign as the Necrons - still working out how to play them...

They're a bit strange to begin with. They're slow, but they hit hard. The only resource they need is power - capturing strategic points and building on them decreases the build time for units. The "I'll be back" rule only works 50/50 but its still fun seeing a squad build itself back up to full strength and slaughter the enemy. They're the first army where I've had to take assault troops (flayed ones) on every mission (once the game's patched up they're fearless, like they should be). Mostly, my armies tend to be made up of warriors (although for some reason researching the bonuses for them doesn't appear to do anything for them) and I always give my lord a resurrection orb. Tomb spiders can increase your army above the squad cap with recycled units and they are great for spam building scrab swarms for taking out virtually any army. Not sure if this is much help, mind you I'm playing them and still thinking like a Space Marine. One other thing, as they've changed infiltration with the expansion I think its only your turrets, Necron Lord and builder scarabs that can see infiltrated units. One more thing, when you get Dark Crusade, try the Tau and build Drone squads at the vehicle beacon. Provided you keep reinforcing them you can sweep across the map with them.

And now as if that wasn't enough, it seems we're getting a new expansion in the Spring, called Soulstorm meaning we get to blow the Dark Eldar away as well.
EDIT: Oh, and it seems the 2nd new race are the Witchhunters or at least the Sisters of Battle.
EDIT: According to dawnofwarfiles.com, the 2nd race has been confirmed as the Sisters of Battle.

I gots me Dark Crusade! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's a one disc-er! Just installed in on Dria's laptop and had a quick squizz at the Egyptian Terminators and they're playing mighty fine! Can't wait to get it home and get online with it!

Oh bugger! I'll have to hurry up and get it too, as I only have winter assault at the moment. I won't be able to mulitplay as I will have an incompatible version.

The cheapest I've seen Dark Crusade and Soulstorm going for is £17.99 each on Play, although I think Game currently have DC in their two for twenty-odd offer thing at the moment...
Best of all, now that I've *finally* got my PC rebuild DC keeps insisting that my DoW licence code is invalid - despite DoW liking it and DC not having a problem with it every other time I've installed it. Fecking charming!
Still, yay for evil Necron goodness!
EDIT: *Finally* sorted out my licence code issues. Just in case anyone else runs across this problem after installing DC, make sure you only have DoW patched up as far as 1.40 before installing DC, then once you've got your licence codes entered in DC you can then go off and patch away to your heart's content.
Oh and remember, once you're playing DC, or DoW 1.50/1.51, you don't need the disc to play.

On a related note, THQ have just officially announced Dawn of War II.
Apparently Soulstorm owners get access to an invitation only multiplayer beta...
Check out the first Dawn of War II screenshots here and the new site here and the official teaser trailer here
