Just finished Gravity Rush 2 last week. Awesome game, couldn't recommend it enough.

Untold Stories. 4 Stories. 1 Nightmare I originally was made aware of the first segment of this game, The House Abandon, which was available for free. Article with link to download siteLink to game site with TrailerWith the article in question comapring it to a novel called House of Leaves, I thought "I loved House of Leaves!" so of course I downloaded it straight away and I was not dissapointed. The House Abandon is a terrifying text based adventure created by one of the Alien Isolation devs, in which the environment you’re playing in reacts around you. It plays like a traditional text based adventure, using commands such as ‘Look’, ‘Open’, ‘Go To’ and ‘Use’ to make your way around a house you used to live in as a child. Where The House Abandon differs however, is that the environment you’re playing in is actually part of the game and changes throughout – something that is used to great effect to really freak you out. I then discovered it was part of a larger game with interconnecting themes, although until you play through its hard to see how they are connected but there are small details which tie into the game if you look for them. The game does require you to do a little bit of work and use your noggin, but the payoff is worthwhile as you feel greatly invested in the story, which should take about 4+ hours. A wonderfully atmospheric, old school adventure with a great 80's vibe. Recommended for text adventure fans and those who enjoy creepy and thrilling narratives.

In terms of gameplay, no; the game mechanics are slightly different and explained well in the first half hour or so. But, and it's a big but, these games are so story driven that you really won't get the satisfaction and real sense of accomplishment out of Gravity Rush 2 if you haven't played and completed the first one. Personally, I love these games and would always recommend playing them both in order. I got the first one on the Vita free via ps+, but still bought the remastered version, and played it through, on ps4, and I'm glad I did. Plus, Gravity Rush Remastered isn't that expensive, if you don't like that game then you save a lot more by not forking out for the second one. It's also worth looking out for the anime that links the two games on YouTube after finishing the first one.

Aw, thanks bud -- and yeah I'm the same, I really don't like jumping into a series midway, especially if there's a focus on story. It's one of the reasons I'm not jumping straight into Nier Automata; I didn't even realise it was a sequel (to a spinoff)

I've been playing Destiny 2 on PC for a while now. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Can't wait for the expansion.
