Afternoon all, been back and forth to SFX for a while seeing if it would ever come back, then spotted Pete's tweet last night.
Not been on a great deal recently due to the other half setting up her own business and helping etc. ( www.madebymyself.com )
Might be able to get on a bit more as things die down before Christmas, if my PS3 lasts that long as it's slowly dying.....it's an original fat 40gig with an upgraded 500gig hard drive in it - so I've had my money's worth out of it.
When you plug it in and it switches itself on to update, it will beep and the red light will flash, and occasionally yellow....... Same happens when you turn it on with the control pad.
Thing is, it works perfectly fine when you switch it on with the on/off button on the front, then connect the control pad?
Hoping that they'll be a load of cheap PS3's on eBay when the PS4 comes out, as I can't justify the gamble on any new games if the console is on it's way out.... really want GTA5.

Yay! Hi Tom! Good to hear from ya! You've done well getting a launch ps3 that far, I've heard of loads starting to snuff it in the last year. You REALLY need to play the last of us, awesome game!
@dave- mine is payed for too! not getting at midnight cos I have work in the morning, the temptation to get it online at half one in the morning would be too strong!

I have a class a 0900 but I'm still going to the midnight launch and changing the HDD once I get home. If it updates quickly enough I'll give it a bit of a go before bed.

There was a take down video a few weeks ago where the Sony engineer took it apart differently than you normally would and removed a tamper seal to get at the HDD which started that rumour.

Is there any way to change your load out while NOT in the game.On BF3,all you did was go to my soldier but there doesn't seem to be a menu to change weapon attachments. Doing it during the game makes you wonder how many kills you're missing and how much time you're wasting!
